My proofreading service does not include cross-checking external references, the reduction of overall word count or assessment/changing of the argument presented. All students must obtain confirmation in writing from their supervisors that commissioning a proofreading service is allowable.

How much does the service cost?

In order to provide an accurate quote, please send an email to chloe@mitchellproofreading.co.uk with the following information:

• Word count
• Date I will receive the text
• Date you need the text returned
• 1-page sample of text (if available)
• Discipline and purpose of text

I will reply to your email within 24 hours to provide you with an accurate quotation and a guaranteed return date. You are then free to decide whether or not to go ahead.

The cost will be dependent upon the text type and turnaround time needed. Due to my capacity, it is generally advisable to contact me at least 3 weeks before you require the document to be returned to you, however, I can occasionally fit work in at short notice.
